Sarah Brightman, a name well known throughout the world. In Spain, she is nicknamed ”Opera Angel”. In Germany, she is nicknamed “Singing Queen on the stage”. At the age of 20, she became a member to sing for the musical “cats” and captured the heart of the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. After they got married, Sarah began performing classical works under the guidance of this opera master.
After her breakup with Webber, Sarah Brightman collaborated with one of the world-famous “Three Tenors”, Carreras for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, singing a duet on ”Friends For Life”. With the performance, her classical manner of singing took on a new style.
In 1993, Brightman began the collaboration with famous producer Frank Peter, and the two of them produced a series of CDs in a completely new style.
She was determined to mix classical singing style with elements of popular music, charting a musical course that seamlessly combined classical and popular influences.

“Scarborough Fair” 史卡保羅集市。在中世紀時期，Scarborough是來自全歐洲的商人經常聚集的一個海邊重鎮，非常繁華，而現在只是英格蘭西北部一個默默無聞的小鎮。作為歌曲，Scarborough Fair原是一首古老的蘇格蘭民間謎歌(riddle song)，所謂”riddle song”,是指那些民間流傳廣泛，但是不知道作者是誰的歌曲，而且由於人們的相互傳唱，本來的曲調已經改變了很多。
在70年代，Paul Simon與Art Garfunkel二重唱將它翻唱、收錄于電影《畢業生》的原聲帶中，很多人以為這首歌叫做“畢業生”，其實它的名字叫《史卡保羅集市》“Scarborough Fair”
