The Board of Governors for the International Atomic Energy Agency have met at its headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
The four-day meeting will focus on a range of issues. These will include the DPRK's recent nuclear test and Iran's uranium enrichment programme.
Meanwhile, the two most likely candidates to succeed Mohamed El Baradei as the IAEA's Director General later this year were also present at the meeting.
Japan's IAEA ambassador Yukiya Amano came top of an informal poll of the IAEA's board members last week, with South Africa's ambassador Abdul Sabad Minty in second place.
