South Korea's Defense Ministry said the DPRK vessel crossed about 1.5 kilometers into waters claimed by South Korea on Thursday near their disputed western sea border. It turned back some 50 minutes later without incident after a warning from the South.
Pyongyang did not comment on the maritime incident. South Korea's Defense Ministry said if DPRK vessels cross the line in the future, they will be confronted in the same manner.
