US Treasury Secretary to visit China

US Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, is set to visit China from May 31st to June 2nd. His visit will come at the invitation of Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan.

China's Foreign Ministry says the two sides will discuss cooperation in coping with the financial crisis and make preparations for the first round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue.

The dialogue is expected to focus on economic and financial topics including energy, environmental protection, and intellectual property rights.
