The whole cave is built of Yangzhi Yu, a special, precious stone, sorta like jade.

Not many people were able to travel to this part of country before. This road was just completed like couple years ago, and still of very poor condition. It's only about 97 kilometers from the county town of Gong Shan to Dulong valley, but it takes from six to nine hours to drive there.
The only road into Dulong river valley is closed half year after the first snow on Gaoligong and Dandanglika Mountains, making the life of Dulong people, the more mysterious to outsiders.
Most of the Dulong villages are hidden away in woods on high mountains, hiking is the only way to get to the villages.
The idyllic life pace is almost a century apart from the life we are normally used to, and that might well explain why most people here wear a smile so serene like we've never seen before.
