    Coming to Lijiang, you have to visit the Jade Dragon Mountain. The snow-capped mountain is the sacred mountain of the Naxi people. In the past, Naxi young people also choose this holy place to end their life in defiance of arranged marriage, seeking true love. They believe this is the perfect, pure place to sacrifice their life for love.

    The mountain is snow-capped all year round. There are three different cable routes going up the mountain. The furthest would take you right to the glacier. The Jade Dragon Mountain's peak is some 5,500 meters above sea level.

    Small simple shops offer special drinks and snacks on top of the mountain, as well as a barbeque on top of the world. This is a mystical place, especially when a Tibetan singer unleashes her voice. The high plateau is the best concert hall for this unnamed talent.
