In the German Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin dropped to third place after a 1-1 draw with SV Hamburg on Sunday. They are now behind Bayern Munich, who moved up to second place with a win over Borussia Monchengladbach earlier on Saturday.

After just eight minutes, the hosts Hamburg went ahead, Ivica Olic sent a left-flank cross. Marcell Jansen volleyed home.
