3 Americans arrested in Iran

Iran TV said on Tuesday that three Americans who strayed across the border from Iraq are under arrest for illegal entry. The Iranian state media claimed their case is being used as a propaganda by the West, who claims that these three Americans are hikers.

Iran believes they were neither hikers nor tourists but were journalists. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appealed on Monday to Iran for information on the three Americans to help determine their whereabouts.
