Among the 36 confirmed patients, 15 have recovered, and the rest are now receiving treatment in hospitals in Beijing. There are no critical cases.

The students that were not infected have been quarantined for medical observation at the training camp and are all in stable condition.

Camp organizer Zhou Shijun said, "We asked the children to write diaries, and send some books to them. We also offered specific teachers to help with the children's psychological condition."

The camp organizer says there were no confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases during the preliminary checkup before they arrived at the training camp. The camp's health department says the flu may have originated with a student who came from Shenzhen.

Beijing Health authorities have established a special office to monitor the flu.

The camp had more than 80 primary school students from across the country. It was held from July the 11th to the 20th.
