As of 4 AM Beijing time, Mexico had reported 545 new cases with four deaths. In the US there are four new deaths and 409 new cases. Japan has confirmed 34 new cases.
WHO Director General Dr. Margaret Chan says the pandemic alert level will remain at phase 5, despite the sharp increase of cases in Japan.
To date, more than nine-thousand-eight-hundred people have been infected in 41 countries and regions. So far, 79 people have died.
