Football – sometimes known as soccer – is probably the most popular sport in the world. As I’m sure everyone knows, the modern game of football originated in England.

However, it is now widely acknowledged among the experts that the earliest form of football was, in fact, Cuju, which literally means “kicking a ball”, and was played in China over 2,000 years ago.
