On the direct train from Hong Kong, where one man was confirmed to have the flu infection, every passenger must fill out a health registration form that includes their contact information. Every passenger also gets a basic medical check, such as a thermal scan before getting off the train in Beijing.

Anyone with a body temperature higher than 37 degrees Celsius will be taken to a hospital for further checks. So far, no one with symptoms has been found.
