A Press Center for journalists covering the upcoming annual sessions of the National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference has opened in Beijing.
It's in Beijing's Science and Technology Hall and it's from here that all the news about the sessions will be released. The center will handle the credentials and applications of all journalists, and will help arrange coverage and services.
Since the press center opened on Tuesday, more than 1,000 journalists have registered. There are expected to be more than last year's number.
