July 1 witnesses the sixth anniversary of the return of Hong Kong. Some outside still wonder a lot if Hong Kong is already under the supervision of Beijing. But others might look the other way around. After all Hong Kong has gone through some major real crises, such as the 1997 the Asian financial fiasco, and the SARS impact. How should we examine the ties the S.A.R. government in Hong Kong and central government and the “one country, two systems” policy? Have they been brought closer? How do local Hong Kong people look at their own economic problems under the abilities of the S.A.R. government Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa to handle them?
Join in the program is Mr. Shiu Sin Por, executive director of One Country Two Systems Research Institute in Hong Kong.
