Following their first meeting in France in early June this year, Chinese President Hu Jintao met his American counterpart President George W. Bush once again at the APEC summit meeting in Thailand. And the constructive discussion are issues such as nuclear standoff, currency policy, counter terrorism as well as trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Other leaders from NATO also seize the opportunity to deliver their positions on chief issues of common concern. In today's discussion, Dr. Evan S Medeiros, Associate Political Scientist from the RAND corporation and Mr. Tao Wenzhao, deputy director of the Institute of American Studies, CASS will share their views with us.
