There is no doubt that China is becoming stronger after two decades of opening up and reform, and it is becoming more accepted by the international society. On other hand, behind major topics, there are two major schools of thoughts: one is so called China threat theory and the other is alleged China collapse theory. Both of views have a lot to do how to look at the relationship between a rising power and other established major powers in the world. To examine the background and implication of China’s rising. We have honor to invite Huang Renwei, professor of Shanghai Academy of Social Science. He is the author of the book called The Time and Space of China’s Rise.
