I think that we firstly should preserve what we have ,then take pains to retrieve the lost relics.China should advocate every citizen to pretect our legacy and implement the laws pertaining to cultural and historical relics. Furthermore ,our goverment can negociate with other coountries to claim back what belongs to us.

Once a hooligan, always a hooligan. The frenchman and the brit forces the opium down the Chinese people's throat, then they destroy our country and loot all of our cultural relics. Now, those hooligans are going to auction off our cultual relics for a cause to make them look like they are the good guys. As the modern Chinese, we must make sure that our next generations will always remember what the brit and frenchman did to our country, and remember to 2009 incident for any future business dealings with them.

In my view, the treatures which originally belong to China should be returned back whatever they are in which coutry right now . The measures:firstly, this problem should be solved by the dialogue among the governments; secondly,if the dialogue can't become effective ,the government of China should ask the UN or the International Tribunal to help us to deal with.

If in history, China was weak, that's because there are too many betrayers. Those for their personal benefits, they not only betray their motherland and sell national treasures to other country, they do not mind sale their own sole. You won't easily find one British or French or German citizen help foreign country embezzle their own country for individual or organizational benefit, that's why they are strong. Anyhow, what happened in the past is history. So, since nowadays, a lot of institutions promote the idea of learning from western countries, very good. Then first learn their national dignity.

French court should enforce Christie's auction house to return the stolen Chinese relics to China. By doing so, French will be able to take a good opportunity to show the true value of humanity in a great manner.

It should be given back to its original owner due to God's teaching. Actually the world is a arena only the stronger will win and China was the weakest one at that time, so China was (is) always at loss namely to be bullied by stronger countries. Telling you the truth USA was the only country among the stronger ones treating Chine comparatively fair, USA didn't take the money of idemnity which was given back to China to building a school Called Tsinghua University Now. A country should be strong or it would be bellied all the time by grabbing away land, water territority, resource even cheap man power. Rise, arose and wake! Poor China!
