NPC, CPPCC agendas for March 7

Monday's major agendas for the third sessions of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) and of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are as follows:

NPC

-- Deputies to deliberate the government work report delivered by Premier Wen Jiabao;

-- Deputies to review the report on central and local budgets and the report on the national economic and social development plan;

-- The State Development and Reform Commission and other ministries to give a press conference in the morning;

-- The presidium to hold its second plenum in the afternoon.

CPPCC

-- Members to hold joint panel discussions focusing on the premier's report and the reports on central and local budgets and on the national economic and social development plan;

-- The second plenum to be held in the afternoon.
