Chinese President Hu Jintao says he hopes the parliaments of China and Russia will further strengthen communication and cooperation, and continue to raise the level of bilateral relations.
Hu Jintao voiced this hope on Wednesday while meeting with the leaders of both houses of Russian Parliament in Moscow. He noted that mutual understanding and trust between the two countries have become an important driving force in deepening bilateral relations.
Russian Federation Council Chairman Sergei Mironov said there are broad prospects for the development of Sino－Russian relations. He said he firmly believes President Hu Jintao's visit will promote exchange and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
