| Thailand reports ninth case of SARS |

Thailand's Public Health Ministry on Friday reported a new case of SARS, which is the ninth in the kingdom, The Nation newspaper reported on Saturday.
The new patient is a Taiwanese businessman who entered Thailand about one week ago and was now receiving treatment at a hospital in Bangkok, Deputy Health Permanent Secretary Thawat Suntrajan was quoted as saying.
"He is recovering well and will be discharged in a few days," the health official said.
The Public Health Ministry on Thursday reported the eighth case of SARS, a Thai woman who visited London in early April.
The Thai government insisted all the nine SARS patients found out in Thailand contracted the disease outside the country.
