| WHO experts continue inspection tour in Shanghai |

Experts with the World Health Organization are continuing their inspection tour in Shanghai. On Wednesday, they inspected local hospitals in order to give a thorough assessment of SARS prevention work in China's largest metropolis.
On Wednesday morning, WHO experts inspected Shanghai's Communicable Disease Hospital, the affiliated hospital of the Second Military University of Medical Science, and a local community medical service center. During the inspection, they exchanged views with Shanghai medical workers on SARS prevention measures. They also gave medical workers advice on self－protection against SARS and how to provide effective public medical education. In the afternoon, they attended a news conference organized by the city government, hearing measures adopted to tighten disinfection and physical check－ups at the city's major entry ports and schools.
