Chinese President Hu Jintao has held talks in Moscow on Sino－Russian relations with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. He says expanding economic cooperation is an important part of deepening the Sino－Russian strategic partnership. He suggests raising the level of cooperation through major economic and technological projects.
The Chinese president says the two countries need to further open markets to each other, standardize trade transactions and offer support for access of goods, services, and capital into each other's market.
Kasyanov says he's satisfied with the direction of Russian－Chinese trade in recent years and Russia agrees with China's ideas about bilateral economic and trade ties.
