| Wu Yi congratulates medical workers on Int'l Nurses Day |

 China's Vice－Premier and Health Minister Wu Yi has sent a congratulatory message to the country's nurses and medical workers. She conveyed her great respect to the nurses on Sunday, to celebrate International Nurses Day.
 Wu Yi said in an open letter that the professionalism and spirit of the nurses have earned them widespread praise, respect and trust －－ especially during the ongoing fight against SARS. The vice－premier also expressed her confidence that China will ultimately defeat SARS.
