On May 2, the University of California at Berkeley made an unusual decision for an open university that students from China and other regions of Asia affected by SARS would not be accepted for its summer programs.

The announcement has caused immediate concern among students in China, especially those who were planning to study in the US.

CCTV International will have an exclusive interview with University Chancellor Robert M. Berdahl on Sunday. He will explain the reasons behind this decision, and update viewers on the latest developments.

Please tune in to Sunday's Dialogue on CCTV-9 at 10:30 am Beijing time for our exclusive interview.
