| Macao begins anti－viral treatment on first confirmed SARS case |

The government hospital of the Macao Special Administrative Region began on Saturday night to use anti－viral treatment on the first patient in the region that is confirmed to have contracted SARS.
The head of the hospital said the patient was in a stable condition, and not suffering from any difficulty in breathing.
