Scientists from China's Taiwan Island have found more varied acid genes of the SARS virus. And the Medical School of Taiwan University on Tuesday announced some clinical achievements in the research of SARS prevention.
They have found that the SARS viruses found in Taiwan are similar to those found in Toronto, Canada, which are quite different from those found in Hong Kong. This, scientists said, shows that the form of the SARS virus changes very fast. Scientists have completed the genetic sequencing of the virus, and say they have made some progress in quickly testing for its presence.
