| IATA: SARS effect on civil aviation double that of Iraq war |

The International Air Transportation Association says SARS is affecting the aviation industry twice as much as the war on Iraq.
IATA Director General Giovanni Bisignani said from Geneva on Monday that they will probably be losing more than 6 billion US dollars this year, mainly due to the effect of the war on Iraq and fears of SARS. But he underlined that air travel is safe.
