Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Cheehwa met with the Governor of Guangdong province, Huang Huahua, in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Friday. They exchanged ideas on how to improve coordinated efforts to fight against SARS. The two officials had an in－depth and candid exchange, based on their areas' experiences and views on combating SARS. They agreed that officials and experts from Guangdong and Hong Kong would work more closely and comprehensively to strengthen the exchange of information, as well as their cooperation in preventing and treating SARS.
