Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will attend a special ASEAN meeting on SARS in the Thai capital of Bangkok on next Tuesday.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs says SARS poses a common regional and international threat and the meeting will try to combat its spread by strengthening multilateral cooperation within the region. Wen Jiabao's visit comes at the invitation of his Thai counterpart Thaksin Shinawatra.
