Chinese researchers have found coronavirus, the virus earlier suspected of being the culprit of the killer disease in three SARS victims.
Researchers who examined lung and spleen samples from the three people who died of SARS found coronavirus in their internal organs. Experts say that this discovery could be helpful to the prevention and treatment of SARS but they warned that an effective vaccination cannot be developed overnight.
It could take several years before a protective vaccination can be made available.
