| NPC presidium presents list of candidates for new leadership line－up |

 The final list of candidates was set at the fourth meeting of the presidium of the 10th National People's Congress on Friday. The list will go before a full－member meeting of the NPC today （Saturday）.
Friday's presidium meeting, chaired by executive presidium chairman Wu Bangguo gave the seal of approval to a list of candidates for China's top posts, such as president and chairman of the Central Military Committee.
Delegates also discussed candidates for China's top legislation body, namely chairman and vice－ chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
Candidates for China's top judge and top procurator, the directors of Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate, were also the focus of the meeting.
Delegates said that the candidates were carefully chosen as they have all demonstrated a good individual track record in their professions. Compared to the candidates of five years ago, these candidates are younger and with higher qualifications.
During the presidium meeting, delegates approved candidates for various sub－committees under the 10th National People Congress.
The list of candidates is to be presented at a plenary meeting of the 10th National People's Congress Saturday when a new leadership will be charged with the task of leading China for the next five years.
