Top CPC leaders attend provincial delegation meetings |

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Hu Jintao, together with some other Party leaders, attended various provincial delegation meetings on Saturday. During the meetings, deputies explained their particular regional situations and made suggestions for further development.
General Secretary Hu Jintao of the Party Central Committee attended the discussion of the Jiangsu delegation. Hu Jintao and deputies discussed finding a suitable way for Jiangsu to maintain its fast development. He suggested that those places that can develop faster should go ahead and achieve modernization, and contribute later to the non-developed regions.
Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee's Political Bureau Zeng Qinghong joined the discussion with the Zhejiang delegation. He recommended that Zhejiang should construct a balanced well-off society and then head for overall modernization.
Another member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee's Political Bureau Huang Ju attended the meeting of the Inner-Mongolia delegation. Since the west development project was launched three years ago, the region has developed at a very fast speed. The construction of basic facilities and protection of the environment have balanced natural and social development.
Attending the discussion of the Shanxi delegation, Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee's Political Bureau raised the importance of the crackdown on corruption. He said it's important to pay more attention to common people's interests and care for the things common people care for.
At the meeting with the Henan delegation, Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee's Political Bureau discussed agricultural development with the deputies. They recommended that in the new century, spiritual development should be a big part of the whole society's construction.
