Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing arrived in Monaco on Sunday to attend an International Expositions Bureau meeting that will decide the host city for the World Expo 2010.
Today (Monday) five candidates will present their closing speeches to the Assembly. Shanghai was the first city to formally apply to host the Expo last year.
The other candidate cities still in the running are Moscow, Mexico City, Poland's Wroclow and South Korea's Yeoso.
The World Exposition has been regarded as a prestigious exposition ever since it was launched in London in 1851. It has been branded the Olympics of economy, culture, science and technology.
