| Chinese Health Ministry reports 9 new SARS cases |

There were nine new severe acute respiratory syndrome （SARS） cases and four new deaths from the disease between 10:00 a.m. May 26 and 10:00 a.m. May 27 on the Chinese mainland, the Ministry of Health reported Tuesday.
The nine new SARS cases and four new deaths all were found in Beijing, according to the Ministry of Health.
The cumulative SARS cases rose to 5,322 while the number of SARS patients discharged from hospitals and the death toll reached 2,944 and 321 respectively, the ministry said in a daily report.
