| Singapore minimizes SARS impact on tourism |

In order to raise the confidence level of visitors, Singapore has introduced an award called "Cool Singapore" for hotels and other tourism facilities.
This program covers several sectors that have implemented stringent SARS preventive measures that do not affect visitors. The initiative will also be extended to restaurants and other industries.
