| Workshop on SARS impact on Asian economy held in Beijing |

Bruce Murry, a representative of Asian Development Bank to China, Long Yongtu, secretary general of the Boao Forum, and Deepak Bhattasali, chief economist of World Bank's Beijing office attended the workshop on the impact of SARS on the Asian economy and on relevant policy recommendations held in Beijing May 13.
The workshop, jointly convened by the Boao Forum for Asia and the Asian Development Bank, is the first discussion of the impact of SARS on international business and trade since the outbreak of the epidemic.
