Zeng Qinghong elected Chinese vice-president

    Zeng Qinghong was elected vice-president of China at an on-going session of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) Saturday morning.

    Zeng, born in 1939, is one of the nine members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee.
