| CPC members urged to play exemplary role in CPPCC work |

Senior Party leader Jia Qinglin urged all CPC members of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference （CPPCC） to acquaint with the CPPCC work as soon as possible and set an example in carrying out all decisions and in performing their duties in this top advisory body and see to it that all the Party's guidelines and policies are well implemented.
"It's our Party's unshakable policy and also every Party member's unshirkable duty to consolidate and develop the most extensive patriotic united front," said Jia, who is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, at a group discussion of CPC members of the 10th CPPCC National Committee Wednesday afternoon.
Jia was designated by the First Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee to preside over all the meetings of the executive chairmen of the presidium.
All CPC members serving in the CPPCC, especially those who have just become members of the 10th CPPCC National Committee, must master the Party's policies concerning the united front work and get familiar with the system of people's political consultation as quickly as possible, and carry on the fine traditions of both the Party and the CPPCC, said Jia.
He demanded all CPC members in CPPCC organizations at all levels earnestly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, respect their colleagues and unite closely with non－Communist CPPCC members, display democracy and zeal for work and strictly observe CPPCC discipline.
