| Real Madrid fly out to China for Asian tour |

The world's top football club Real Madrid is heading to China for the opening leg of a 17－day tour of Asia.
The General Director of the Spanish Football Club Jorge Valdano on Thursday confirmed to the press the list of 25 players who will take part in the Asian tour. He said the ideal Asian tour rooster should be made up of 22 to 23 players, including Beckham, Carlos, Zidane, Figo and Ronaldo.
However, he said the contract situation of some players like Cesar, Cleades and McManaman, whose high price makes it complicated for them to leave the team, forced the coach to extend the list of participants.
