At the Wolong Nature Reserve in China's southwestern Sichuan Province, China's Giant Panda Protection Research Center has recently helped a female wild Panda return to nature.
The Giant Panda was named the "fourth girl" after it was found in ill-health on the nature reserve's "Fourth Girl Mountain".
The female panda was very weak when found. The Panda research center says she is about four years old and weighed 70 kilograms. Research center workers also say the panda's heart was not functioning correctly at the time of her discovery. But after nursing her back to health and providing proper nutrition, workers say the panda is now in good health, and strong enough to return to nature.
There are about 150 wild giant pandas currently living in the nature Reserve.
