| Real Madrid stars to play in China in August |

 Spanish football giant Real Madrid will play a friendly match against a team consisting of top Chinese players in Beijing in August. China's sports officials announced on Thursday that superstars from Real Madrid, including David Beckham, Zinadine Zidane, Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Robert Carlos, Raul Gonzalez and Iker Casillias, will all make appearance before Chinese football fans.
The match is part of the Spanish club's Asia tour to prepare for the 2003－2004 season of Spanish first division league.
The Spanish team may also spend a week in late July in Kunming. Their rivals, the Dragon Team, consist of leading players from top football clubs across the country, most of them coming from China's National Football Team and Olympic Team.
