Art exhibition recalls war spirit

A painting and calligraphy exhibition was held in Beijing this morning, to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The exhibition is jointly organized by the People's Daily Newspaper, the Party Literature Research Center and Party History Research Center of the CPC Central Committee. More than 300 works on display portray the spirit of the Chinese fighters. Government officials, artists and war veterans attended the exhibition.
