China, Japan conclude first strategic talks

China and Japan agreed to maintain their dialogue process after concluding their first strategic talks in Beijing. The Chinese Vice-Foreign Minister, Dai Bingguo, and his Japanese counterpart Shotaro Yachi, exchanged views on bilateral and international issues of common concern. The both sides considered the two-day dialogue helpful, and agreed to continue the talks.
On Saturday, the Chinese Foreign Minister, Li Zhaoxing, met with Yachi.
