Spokesman says Arafat in stable condition

An Arafat spokesman said the ailing president is in stable condition in a Paris hospital. He said Arafat is not in a coma as reported earlier.

Over a week ago, the 75-year-old Palestinian leader was rushed to the Percy military hospital in Paris. This comes amid reports his condition has been deteriorating, and struggling for his life.
