Conflicting reports of Arafat´s health

Some Palestinian officials have said that Yasser Arafat is in intensive care unit, and undergoing a new round of tests to diagnose his still-unexplained condition. But top Arafat aides have issued strong denials. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the officials said the Palestinian leader's condition seriously deteriorated Wednesday, and he was rushed into an intensive care unit at the French military hospital where he's undergoing treatment. Sources say the doctors still don't know the cause of his blood and digestive disorders. But Arafat's top aides accused Israel of spreading rumors.
