Hi-tech projects start rejuvenation of NE industries

Sixty hi-tech development projects aimed at revitalizing traditional industries in northeast China have begun operations with a total investment of 5.6 billion Yuan or around 700 million US dollars.

The projects, which received the green light from the State Development and Reform Commission, hope to contribute to a rejuvenation of traditional industries in China's rust belt. The projects include 2 engineering research centers, 8 enterprise technology centers, and 20 high-tech structural adjustment plans.
