International responses to China´s launch of Shenzhou-V

The following are response to China's launch of Shenzhou-V:

"This launch is an important achievement in the history of human exploration. China, after Russia and the United States, is only the third nation to successfully launch humans into space."

European Space Agency (ESA) congratulated China on its first successful human space flight, and said it expects to cooperate with China in future space explorations.

"China's first successful human space flight is a historical event. Relying on China's own techniques, China's space career will be brought to a new high."
