The 1st "Red River Cup" TV Anchors Image Design Contest is now in its final stage. CCTV International Channel (CCTV-4) will air the finals and the award ceremony on December 20.
The organizers attach great importance to its professionalism and authoritativeness. They have invited top image designers, fashion designers and psychologist from across the country to the judging panel, and well-known CCTV anchors to host the contest.
According to some experts, compared with the average international level, image design in China on the whole is still far behind. In many other countries, image design usually has several divisions, each responsible for a specialized duty. So every designer has to meet requirements for special skills and experience before he or she is hired as an image designer.
 The contestants are excited, hoping to learn new useful knowledge and improve their professional skills through the contest.
Believing that such a contest plays an active role in raising the image design level in China, many people hope the contest will be held regularly in the future.
