II. Yihong Congou Black Tea (Lichuanhong)
宜紅茶有170餘年製作歷史,起源於清道光年間,是歷史三大出口工夫紅茶之一。宜紅茶由於産區廣、環境佳、産量高、品質優、歷史悠久而聞名於世。它的幹茶條索緊細有毫、色澤烏潤,湯色橙紅透亮,香氣高揚持久,滋味甜醇回甘,葉底柔軟,具有“冷後渾”的品質特點。
Yihong Black Tea has a history of more than 170 years, which originated in the 1820s in the Qing Dynasty. It is one of China’s top three congou black tea exports in history. Grown in a fertile environment and with a high yield, Yihong Black Tea is famous for its good quality and long history. Its dry leaves are compact and thin with showy white hairs in a shining dark color. The bright red tea soup presents a fragrant flavor and mellow taste. A phenomenon called cream down can be observed in tea soup sometimes. It means that the tea soup turns cloudy as it cools down and becomes clear again when it is heated.
