The Wa people, one of the 56 ethnic groups in China, has celebrated their traditional 'Monihei' festival recently in Pu'er City's Mojiang County of southwest China's Yunnan Province. In English, the festival's name means 'Smear You Black' and they do this by covering each other with muddy water. It is a gesture of future health and happiness.
